Best healthy restaurant in Massachusetts! My whole family loves this place! They have a buffet of vegan options and you pay by the weight of your plate. It's very affordable. If you're looking for a great atmosphere or fine dining, this isn't the place. But if you want to leave with a happy tummy, not feeling gross, this is the stop!

This is the absolute best vegetarian restaurant in Boston (and no joke on the planet). Super healthy and really really good. It’s not salads. It’s all really well prepared veg dishes. Highly recommend this gem !!

Such fantastic healthy food. This place treats food like medicine. Every item is cooked perfectly to preserve the natural health benefits. It's a humble establishment. Masao is a true master.

I can't believe that I slept on this one for so long. As someone who appreciates clean, mindful eating, this cafe certainly checks the box on all fronts for me. Don't let the unassuming exterior fool you. The food is top-notch, and you'll find warm, home-style, high-quality, vegan food here. They definitely run out of food fast, so highly recommend going in earlier. I may have also met the owner, Masao, who runs the place today and he's incredibly sweet.

My friends and I visited on a whim on our way to pick pumpkins, and we can't help but overwhelmingly recommend it. From my understanding it's mainly - if not only - run by Masao himself, and we agree he's doing a lovely job. The atmosphere itself was very cozy and welcoming, and I definitely suggest dining in if you'd enjoy a space to take it slow and savor the peace. Can't stress enough that the food is good!! I was very happy to find nearly everything on today's menu was gluten free as one person in our party can't have any, and it was all very fall-oriented flavors. I especially liked the BBQ tofu, butternut squash millet, black bean stew, and the vanilla custard.

I started eating here for more vegan options and to eat healthy. The food is always fresh, it’s a hot bar but constantly replenished. Even though the food is lightly seasoned (there are a lot of older customers) it is packed with flavor. The best part is seeing Masao doing his craft. He is genuinely happy and appreciative of all his customers, and his exuberance is quite contagious. Although he is a man of few words his actions and the kindness in his eyes speak volumes. If you order in a to go box, you place the box on a plate when it is weighed. I think the pricing is on par with other hot/ salad bars.

It is a hidden jam, healthy and very well cooked food

This place is really good and really cool. It is not fancy, but you can tell the owner works there. The focus is on high quality great tasting food that is real. It is buffet style, you pick what you want and pay by weight. There is limited seating and there were people at the door before it opened on a Thursday evening. EDIT: Only open for lunch and takeout since pandemic. Still great food but it is no longer buffet and no dinner hours. EDIT: 5/1/22 Buffet eat in or take out is now available at lunch.
